Niaouli Oil is generally not considered a pleasant essential oil. The aroma is camphorous, earthy and a bit harsh. However it's never a good idea to form an opinion of the aroma of an essential oil by simply smelling it straight from the bottle. 

The essential oil of Niaouli, thanks to its antiseptic properties, is believed to inhibit bacterial growth.

 Not to be taken internally. Must be kept away from children and pets. Don't use it if you're pregnant or lactating. Always remember to dilute any essential oils in a base oil if using on the skin - patch test is always recommended!
